Researchers are seeking about 500 NHS patients to try out a new “universal” vaccine against seasonal flu.

It is claimed that the experimental vaccine will work differently from the one available now. The vaccine offered now has to be made every year based on the type of the flu, and they believe it will offer better protection.

 

The new job effects part of the virus that does not change each year.  

 According to team at University of Oxford; vaccine should work against human, bird and swine flu.

 

 

The National Institute for Health Research, which supporting the project says, this is the world’s first widespread human testing of such a vaccine.
