Microsoft has announced that its virtual assistant Cortana will now be available on its video communication tool Skype.

According to Microsoft’s official Blogpost, this feature will be available starting today for both iOS and Android users in the USA.

Cortana will be able to provide in-context assistance in your chat and provide information on topics,  detects meeting and recommends reminder set up. It can be available as a separate contact. It will reply to questions.

Microsoft claimed at the launch time, the new app has been built from the ground up. The VolP messenger now makes it easy for users to chat with groups in a more lively and expressive manner.
